About the week

Around 22 participants are hosted by ESADE students and members of the organization. The week is organized by students from all the different ESADE degrees (business and law). As at any IW, we want every participant to have a great time while getting to know our beautiful city and Gaudi’s modernist art. We want to give the participants the chance to absorb not only the touristic city but also the real Barcelona and to experience it as a local.

Highlights Included

  • Institutional welcome at ESADE campus and speeches from Professors
  • Sightseeing through the old city and games to get to know the history of Barcelona
  • A trip to Gerona including an exciting company visit, sleeping at a nice cottage and having an International Dinner

About the week

Since most students in PKU do not live in Beijing, there are no hosts and all the participants will live in a hotel during IW Beijng. All the activities will take place in the city and suburbs of Beijing. The aim of our IW is to provide an opportunity for participants to get to know China's culture, history, politics, economics, education etc, and to experience a real Chinese life, to see the beautiful scenery and to make friends from different countries.

About the week

About 20 students are invited to our International Week.The Belgian team is composed of 8 members, all of which are members of the LSM Club, the student organization of the Louvain School of Management.
The IW takes place in Louvain-La-Neuve, a newly born town, situated in the French-speaking part of Belgium. It was created in 1969 in order to host the Catholic University of Louvain, who had just separated with the Catholic University of Leuven, and had to move from Flanders to Wallonia. It counts 20,000 inhabitants, with approximately the same number of students attending University and colleges in town.

About the week

The IW Exeter is organised by students from the University of Exeter that are excited to show the South-West of England as well as the University. The week is for 15-20 participants that want to be a part of this adventure and get a glimpse of the English Culture and traditions. The participants will be experiencing the countryside of Devon, the traditional ‘Cream Tea’ as well as a visit to the Exeter Cathedral. They will also have the chance to get a taste of the Exeter University life as all the hosts will be students. JK Rowling, author of the world famous Harry Potter books is an alumni of the University of Exeter. Many of the places in the book were inspired by the city and university of Exeter, such as ‘Diagon Alley’ and ‘The Leaky Cauldron’ which are believed to have been based on landmarks and buildings in Exeter. You will get the chance to see all of these during your week! This is a fantastic opportunity for you to experience one of the most beautiful and traditional cities in England.

This is an International Week you have never experienced before. By combining the strengths of the biggest cities in the Netherlands, we will show you the most amazing parts of our country! First, you will stay in the world's famous city, Amsterdam, famous for its canals, diversity and amazing parties, this will be a great start of the International Week. Besides that, you will celebrate the biggest open air party of Europe during your stay in Amsterdam, called Kingsday! During the birthday of our King, the entire country will change into one orange madness that you will never forget!

After 4 days in Amsterdam, you will travel to Rotterdam for another 6 days, where you will explore a new city, which has been rebuild after the Second World War, famous for its modern architecture and biggest port of Europe. Indonesia International Week (IIW) is one of the annual events held by Indonesian Students Association for International Studies (ISAFIS). Indonesia IW will definitely give you an opportunity to expand your network and enhance the knowledge while having an unforgettable summertime in The Equator, Indonesia.

Participants will explore the beauty of Indonesia in many aspects. We will explore four big cities in Indonesia, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Jogjakarta, and Bali. You’ll get to see all of the significant places in our magnificent İstanbul like Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Golden Horn, Bosphorus, Princes’ Islands, Maiden’s Tower, Grand Bazaar, Taksim Square and İstiklal Street.
During your time here, you’ll be drinking rakı , smoking water pipe , eating kebab and döner , crossing the bridge and travelling between Asia and Europe in just a minute, getting stuck in traffic for hours, living in chaos but somehow having the time of your life.

About the week

The student union LundaEkonomerna at the School of Economics and Management at Lund University organizes a yearly international week to foster the university’s relationship with other partner universities all over the world. Every year Lund University invites around 20 carefully selected students from foreign universities to visit Lund. The students will get the opportunity to experience the life of a student at one of Sweden’s top universities for one week. This week will also give the students a taste of the employment prospects available in our greatly entrepreneurial region. Hence it is a great chance for both students and companies to start a long-term relationship.
The Swedish students arrange accommodation and every international student will be staying in the apartment/dorm of a Swedish student. This will be an unforgettable week with activity filled days and crazy nights!

Highlights Included

During this week both international and Swedish students will participate in a number of activities. There will be visits to characteristic Swedish companies and organizations to give an insight into local trade and industry. There will also be sightseeing and social events to get to know the city itself and the Swedish culture. Dinners and parties will be arranged, giving the opportunity to mingle with other students and make the well-known legend of Lund’s student life a reality.

During previous weeks students got the chance to visit companies like IKEA, Ernst & Young, Thule Group. They have also gotten to experience both seal and moose safaris and visited several cities in Skåne, the most southern part of Sweden. Usually the group also takes the train over the bridge to Denmark during one day to visit Carlsberg and Christiania among other things.
When it comes to the nightlife, Lund is famous for it’s student parties, which are probably the best in Sweden.

We promise new friends, interesting company visits, lots of Swedish songs and a great experience!
